Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140 bed hospital offering inpatient services for adolescents, adults and their families. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Intake Clerk is accountable to the Director of Admissions/Intake and is responsible for implementing the organization's assessment/admission procedures. The Intake Clerk shall perform all administrative, customer service, financial and reception duties delineated by the Director of Intake in a professional and efficient manner, demonstrating a positive attitude in all interactions. He or she must have an understanding of the importance of patient rights and confidentiality in all matters of patient care.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in social work, psychology, human resources, or related human services field.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, patient evaluations and information reports. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the community. Ability to communicate on an effective level with physicians, patients, referral sources, and staff from a variety of disciplines.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
