Title: Support Specialist Location: Kentucky-Radcliff
Key Role:
Facilitate all aspects of the Army's tuition assistance (TA) program. Serve as a liaison for various GoArmyEd account activities that involve Soldiers, Army Education Centers, and Postsecondary Institutions. Research and assign customer relationship management (CRM) cases for action or distribution to all functional areas within Headquarters and Army Continuing Education System (HQ ACES). Reply, close, or escalate CRM cases in accordance with (IAW) AR 621-5 and HQ ACES policies, procedures, and subject matter expert (SME) decisions. Respond to telephonic and electronic inquiries providing guidance to Soldiers, Army Education Center personnel, schools on the operation of GoArmyEd, and DoD and US Army tuition assistance policy. Research Army TA exception to policy (ETP) requests, make recommendations, and prepare responses for and participate in ETP board meetings. Prepare operating agency OA-22s for prior year funding approval.
Basic
Qualifications:
-4 years of experience in DoD and Army education programs and services with government and Army acronyms
-Experience with Microsoft Office programs required
-Knowledge of Army rank structure, Regular Army, US Army Reserve, and Army National Guard organizational structure
-Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
-Ability to conduct research and communicate findings orally and in writing in an effective manner
-Secret clearance
-AA or AS degree
Additional
Qualifications:
-4 years of experience with case management
-4 years of experience with using Army personnel and training systems, including Army Training Requirements and Resources System (ATRRS) and Enlisted Distribution and Assignment System (EDAS)
-Possession of excellent organization skills
